Sunday sounds great for me, but I have two problems.
1. I'm not sure what time 1600-2000 is.
2. I'm not liking the idea of racing against Leo. I thought I would have a fighting chance in this RRL thing. laugh.gif

Question: I'm UTC-8, so does that mean I subtract or add 8 hours? If it's subtract, no. Add, yes. Sunday mornings are generally not a good time for me.

I'm not sure what time 1600-2000 is.

meaning 4pm - 8pm in the middle of the Atlantic ... being that you are UTC -6, this would mean the proposed time is 10am - 2pm (your local time) wink.gif

Saturdays at any time of day generally work well for me, so maybe the day before at the same time?

I am PST, and I believe you are EST, so that means 3 hours later than whatever I do for you.

I get the feeling that weekday evenings are going to be difficult. We have a full 9 hour time difference here so 5pm for Fuglz is going to be 2am for you. I'm guessing thats not do-able.

Afternoon though sounds a bit more like it. Bear in mind that to get all the races done will take 1.5 to 2 hours so we don't want to start too late. Realisticly I can't do much later than 2200 UTC (2.00pm PST), I have to get up for work! What sort of times do you have free?

Of course we have still yet to hear from Fuglz so I'll PM him and find out if any of this is sensible for him.

Now that everyone has chimed in, it looks like Reb can't make sunday am pst. Weekdays are out for me. Saturday is out for trin.

So, how about sunday 2000-2400 utc (noon - 4pm pst)? Yes, midnight is quite late for you continentals, but I don't see us taking more than a couple hours*, meaning 10pm - 11pm finish your time. (meaning, actual race time 2000 - 2200 utc)

Or Reb, can you make an exception for this one Sunday?

Yes, basically I can do Saturday and Sunday PM, for the record.

Ok lets try and pin this down a bit more then. If noon is pushing it would 1pm be better? This would make the proposed races start at...

2100 UTC 13th Jan

Local times:
• 1300 Rebelious & Racer T
• 1500 Triniboiny
• 1600 leoantix
• 2200 Fuglz

We could probably stretch it to 2200 (an hour later) if we had to. Over to you guys, yes or no? wink.gif

Yes, that works well for me. The only problem is that right now the snow is falling and we currently have 1.5 feet, so if the power goes out, I'm stuck. Just FYI...

You are going to be playing at 1500 hours (military time) which equals 3 PM. We're currently going to be playing on Sunday. Sound good?

This might be helpful for you. Just set the time and date as the UTC time, pick a nearby city and a sensible time will emerge. wink.gif

Good luck with the exam and fingers crossed about the snow. biggrin.gif

Looking good so far. Just a need a confirmation from Racer T and we are all set. Time to get practicing. blink.gif
