Hi All,
Below are our races and players. We have an 8 hour difference, (Carlos and bobrk).
I guess that except for Carlos in London the rest of us are in the US.
I'll suggest this weekend to get us started. I'm fairly flexible, so let's talk and see what will work.
I can host, but a backup host wouldn't hurt if someone is willing and able.

Races:
Race 1: Monza 1961—Daylight, 4 laps, R61
Race 2: Brands Hatch—Sunset, 7 laps, B
Race 3: Silverstone—Moonlight, 7, RC

Players:
bobrk
Cowgirl
Maxwell
Carlos Fandango
MacademiaNut
RIC

Deadline is on Monday, February 4 0800 UTC.

Weekday evenings from 0500 to 1000 UTC. It's a pipe dream, but that's my favorite

Weekends are pretty open--my last group met at 1900 UTC on Sundays, which was fine.

I will be unavailable on 2/2 from 1900 UTC on.

I've hosted--my connection is pretty reliable, so if we need a backup, I can do it.

Carlos/Chris here. I'm free pretty much most days from 1900-2300 UTC (weekends preferable). I've got kids (and a life) so the early mornings (0600-0900 UTC) are out for me.

PS. RIC: PM everyone in the Session to let them know the topic is here - we'll get raceday set sooner that way!

Hi Guys,

I've received a reply from MacademiaNut.

"HI RIC,

I won't be participating in RRL as things are getting hectic here. Sorry about it.

Cheers,
MacNut."

So that makes 5 of us .
Waiting to hear from Maxwell.

Waiting to hear from Maxwell.

My guess is that Maxwell finds it difficult to find the time to race because he lives in the RealWorld™ - he missed all of the sessions last season, and two of the races so far. I think he's eager enough but can't commit the time.

C'mon Maxwell!! Where are yooooooooooou?!!! biggrin.gif

Hi Race Fans,

These are the guidelines as stated:

If someone fails to respond before the first weekend and the rest of the group is only available for that first weekend, you will do the session without him. If you do have an opportunity in a later weekend, you'll plan the session then.

bobrk said that 1900 UTC on Sunday works well for him, me as well.
If that is ok with Cowgirl and Chris we can try for that.

If my math is correct (someone please check) that means:
7pm London, for Chris
2pm eastern (US)
1pm central
12 noon mtn
11am pacific

I don't mind waiting for Maxwell until the following weekend, but we have to hear from him first.
If we don't, we can plan on this Sunday if we are all in agreement.

btw, i should be able to be a backup host if necessary, assuming i'm there wink.gif

Maths correct. I suggest that if everyone else can make both Sundays at the same time, we gather this weekend anyway. If Maxwell replies in between now and then, we can convert it to race day, otherwise we can have a practice session (always needed by me!).

So is anyone else having "issues" with Sunset at Brand's Hatch? I may have a crappy video card (possibly likely) but I can barely see the road surface.

Can we put a "weather change" on the table?

Also, are we going to settle in on a time and date here soon?

Thanks!

bobrk,
I for one haven't had any problems with sunset at Brands. I don't know about changing the weather for that track and guess that doing so wouldn't be fair to the other groups, if it's allowed.
The race date and time were set for this Sunday, 1900 UTC I think, depending on if Maxwell could make it then or on the following Sunday at the same time.
I didn't post that information because although Maxwell did show he didn't say if he is available or not, it didn't sound like he had read the posts previous to his.
Maxwell, if you see this please let us know.

I believe Brook posted that the weather could be changed if people are having trouble and everyone in the group agrees.

But fair enough.

Are we going to do all the races in one go, or spread them out over a weekend. Need to know so I can prepare the wife. wink.gif

i havent had any problems with it and i dont think it would be fair to change it without all the other groups changing it as well, and with races so close to starting if u want it changed u may have to PM brook or someone wink.gif

bobrk,
If changing the weather is ok with RRL there is no problem, thanks for checking.
Doing all 3 races in one sitting makes sense to me.
Everyone else?
I'll post the time and date once we have agreement.
