A hearty congratulations on placing in Group 2. This round will be tougher, pitting those who earned similar points against each other in some very tough contests.

Valentin K, slowDan, DANDY, CP Frost, slowman, and joe chip will pilot:

- 1961 F1 Cars at Monza '61
- Class B (Classic Racers, Supercars and performance Concepts) at Brands Hatch and
- RC (Prototype and Can/Am Racers) at Silverstone.

Tighten your bootlaces, secure the helmets, snap the gloves and press the starter button, we are off....

Race time:
Saturday, Feb 2 1300 EST/1800 UTC/1900 CET
Practice and/or Pocket Race Saturday, Jan 26 1300 EST/1800 UTC/1900 CET

I'd like each player to post the following:

-Their MOST convenient times, Their POSSIBLE times, and their IMPOSSIBLE times.

UTC is preferred but not necessary (just tell me which timezone you're referring to). It's my feeling that we should set an ASAP race date so that plan changes can be accommodated if necessary. Too much practice is bad for you.

Preferred host is CP, backup slowman, 2nd backup DANDY. Let me know if there are any problems with this arrangement.

(Early times below reflect late times for the day listed/early times for the day following that listed. UTC may be standard but it's regularly confusing...)

MOST convenient:

Mondays after UTC 20
Wednesday (nights) 20-0 and after 2, except next Wednesday (after 2 only)
Fridays 23-1
Saturdays 19-0
Sundays 19-0

POSSIBLE:
Tuesdays 0-2, except next Tuesday
Thursday 0-2, except this Thursday

IMPOSSIBLE:
Erm, all other times?

Yes, I'd be happy to host. Thanks for leading this session, DANDY, and I look forward to racing all you guys. Should be a strong field cool.gif

Too much practice is bad for you.

blink.gif Uh-Oh! wink.gif

This will be fun indeed!

Mondays & Wednesdays 2000 UTC sound doable, but I wouldn't want to start later than 2100 UTC during the week (or Sunday night). Unless of course we do two or three sessions? huh.gif

Saturdays or Sundays after 1900 works well for me too. As far as weekends go, as long as I have some notice, I should be able to manage most times.

So:

MOST Convenient: Friday 1800 - Sunday 2100

POSSIBLE: Mon - Fri 1800 - 2100

IMPOSSIBLE: Mon - Fri 2100 onwards

Aha, once more both of us in the same group, DANDY cool.gif

Availibility:

Most convient: Friday-Sunday...1300-1900 UTC

POSSIBLE: most of the rest wink.gif except the stuff below.

IMPOSSIBLE: Monday-Thursday after 19 UTC (school and so on), Monday before 15.00 UTC, Thursday before 16 UTC

I'd prefer starting an hour earlier, especially if it's Sunday.
Could you set the meeting one hour backwards, please? wink.gif

REVISED PROPOSED TIME: Saturday, Feb 2 1300 EST/1800 UTC/1900 CET
Practice and/or Pocket Race Saturday, Jan 26 1300 EST/1800 UTC/1900 CET

I'll host an hour ahead of the original proposed time of 19:00 Saturday, Jan 26 for lapping. If the rest of the field is present at that time, we can run a 'pocket' session which will stand ONLY if the entire field cannot make the new proposed race time.

Ha. A race one has in one's pocket, I think, so in case the following weekend is a bust, we've still got our heads above water.

Ran a few laps on various tracks with 4 of us. Lacking 5, no pocket races were run. Next weekend is sure to be a tightly contested session wink.gif
