Gentlemen,

With the withdrawal of See Flat, I'm organizing this round, the last, of the RRL Winter 2008 tournament.

In this group we have:

+0 Carlos Fandango (Chris in London)
-7 bobrk
-7 Runner
-3 NoNameBrand
+1 MacGreg

It's only 5 now, but I expect everyone will want to show up for these races. We have a race in the rain at Spa with high powered cars and an epic moonlight race at Black Forest in equally high powered cars.

See the Session 5 page for all the details, car classes allowed, and most importantly, the fridge downloads.

As we seem to be evenly split between West Coast, East Coast and Europe, I propose NoNameBrand as the primary host and I can be backup.

As to dates, I'm pretty much unavailable this weekend. Sundays at 1900 UTC work best, but I can be flexible.

Please post your availability.

Races set... March 30th, 1900 UTC

Likewise - although any night at that time is good for me.

Sunday 1900 UTC is great for me, Bobrk, March 16th is out for you? the 23rd is Easter, so some may have some sort of religious/familial obligations, but not me!

I'm super excited about this session, though I wish we had more than five players.

Ah yes, we'll probably be doing a family thing that day, so maybe we will have to do it this weekend. I'm not totally not available, but I was keeping my options open for other stuff.

Anyone else?

PS: And you can host?

the only day I can do is sunday the 23rd, as late as possible. I plan on being hung over as well, so I might not even make it.

Hmmm. 23rd is most likely the main day I can't make it.

So no takers on the 30th?

29th?

22nd?

no can do. like last session, drop me if I'm a drag, again I probably won't even make it on the 23rd.
I got a final on the 22nd followed by a 5 hour run, followed by a "burn the book" party where I plan on killing my brain. I better not have computer access on the 30th, and studying for finals on the 15/16

Well, I'd rather have a definite show (Bobrk) rather than a maybe-show (RunneR), so my vote is the 16th or the 30th.

So, that makes four of us (at most) for this session. I don't suppose we can run with another group so that there's at least more cars on the road...

I concur.

Let's propose either this Sunday March 16th or Sunday March 30, in two weeks.

Please comment and lets nail this down.

Thanks!

Let's say the 16th and see if Chris and MacGreg can make it. Get SeeFlat back here too.

Heh, I'd love to have SeeFlat back, but I think he's done.

I pm'd MacGreg, haven't heard from him yet.

Chris says he's good any night.

I suppose if everyone checked in, we could set a race for this Sunday, but why rush?

back at least. sry folks, could not get in, lost the last session :-(

so, for this one: if you will race sunday 30 of april, I probably will be able to participate. But please, do not decide, taking into account my restrictions, just tell me when, and I will do my best to be there!

Sorry to fanny everyone about - but I've just realised that I'm unable to play from 23rd-28th. However this still means that either 16th or 30th are both okay for me! I suppose I'd better go and try Black Forest, just in case it's tomorrow! sad.gif

Sorry to be such a flake, but it looks like the 30th at 1900UTC is it - I've been duly informed we're going to the in-laws' tomorrow afternoon.

Let's do that then. I'm assuming MacGreg really meant the 30th of March, not April wink.gif, so our last races will be on March 30th at 1900 UTC. Please confirm!

I think we should invite Group 5 to join us - there are only a few of 'em.

It's being discussed elsewhere, but ditto to that.

Both groups agree on this, so I have no problem with merging Group 5 into Group 4.

As of now, Group 4 consists of:
Carlos Fandango
bobrk
NoNameBrand
MacGreg
Racer T
2 drunk 2 drive
Quazaky
Joe Chip
Maxwell

Because I've not seen any withdrawals from MacGreg, Quazaky or Maxwell, they are still in.

Only the first 6 places will receive points, using the 8,6,4,3,2,1 scale.

bobrk will continue to lead Group 4.

I will update the website somewhere this Easter weekend.

Thanks for weighing in, Brook.

You heard the man. Group 4 has already agreed to March 30 at 2000 UTC. Does that work for the Group 5 people?
