Customize a wisp through a wide variety of colors, and facial hair. There are literally billions of combinations possible!

Wow. That just seems so funny.

I bet the 'detonate' ability will piss off.

A bit early, aren't they?

"Moonfire spam" made me giggle like a dingbat.

Wisps? How?

The introduction of Wisps allows a new and exciting game mechanic: permanent death.

They don't seem to be playing Diablo(II) up to much, which figures, but is a also a little disappointing. They could have Diablo Spawn and Diablo Spawn II, now w/ Minions of Baal. Level 10 Tastiness! Man...

Future News:

"Disgruntled Employee Sorcess casts level 15 Firewall in an attempt to burn down BurgerCraft only to find she is powerless. Instead of coming to terms with her humaness, she sets of on a quest to regain her powers..."

Needless to say, I think it'd be fun to work there.
SuperNova
I’m surprised they didn’t include a Leeroy Jenkins themed all more than you can eat chicken meal.

Endless speculation, respeculation, and counterspeculation on this issue have concluded that he does actually say "at least I have chicken."

I thought the only thing that made sense was, "at least I'm not chicken!", but it did sound remarkably like -I have-.

On a more local note, I like the Ambrosia "Norris Software" logo at the top of the page here smile.gif.

# Using friendly emotes will now significantly increase the Infernal and Doomguard's chance to remain loyal to the Warlock.
# Friendly emotes are no longer available to the Warlock.

AKA It's an april fools joke.

"The Zerg Rush All-You-Can-Eat Special"

Haha.

And ###### that logo rocks. Somebody taken a screenshot?

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

It means once you use 'Detonate' your character account is deleted, I guess.

I liked the "Brewmaster bar" and two-headed ogre thing better...last year.

But, I don't actually play WoW....

Sorry. I was totally out of it. Sadly it took me until those lines to understand it was a joke.

No worries. Just that if I was going to post a link to legitimate 1.11 patch notes, it probably wouldn't be in this topic wink.gif.

What I find kinda funny is that since I don't play WoW about half of those sound like they could be normal balance changes. I need to show that to someone who plays the game and ask them why half of them are supposed to be funny.
mrxak
Yeah, that would help. And honestly, some of the stuff isn't all that surprising to see in there. I know my roommate believed it was real for a while.
Talon Karrde
anyone who believed that... heh.

Many of them fall under the category of things that would completely ruin the class. For example, the chance for stealth to break while moving would completely ruin rogues.

Others are poking fun at some of the trends within classes. Mages tended to never get any real upgrades, just new icons, so that is a class joke now. Paladins used to be holy warriors, now they just sit in the back, buffing and healing. As a result, many of them mix in cloth, the patch notes are making fun of that; they also joke about how paladins are obsessed with getting out of the back of raids, trying to convince other players to let them do melee.

I like the bit about jumping stealing night elf exp.

Flightpath Scenery Improvements!

Tired of seeing the same old flightpaths? We've completely reworked each flightpath in the game so that the angle and view are shifted just enough to give all of Azeroth's traveling inhabitants the feeling that they are headed to an all new destination. That's not all, each flightpath has been fleshed out to ensure that the player sees every single detail of the passing terrain, which means that for the same reasonable traveling cost, you'll purchase a ride that's twice the length, and in some cases three and even four times as long!

And this bit, its a joke about awful lag during flights.
