You're kinda SOL unless you have an older machine to play it on though. It even had some problems with Mac OS 8, if I recall. (Was it even possible to finish the campagin? There was a certain point at which I simply could not progress thanks to 4-man selection limit...)

I think the demo of it I have now crashes for some reason, when I play in Classic.

And I'm scared to try booting into 9 as it's such a pain to restart after a crash.

No, I actually own a mac os 8. It worked just fine and it somehow got deleted and I lost my cd. I did buy the warcraft chest. I don't want to buy it again unless I have too.

It's called changing the game speed with the keypad. And saving/loading frequently as needed. And using the Chronos cheat during multiplayer games for extra newbie-stomping power.

I can run mine in classic, except on even the slowest speeds, the key scroll and mouse scroll are way too fast, which makes it almost impossible to micro any real battle.

Then I guess you have to. And come on, you could at least be subtle about it when you're asking us for help to steal something.
