I noticed the topic about the user that was experiencing large file sizes after he upgraded to tiger. I have followed the advice in that topic, but I am still getting large file sizes. A 4 minute movie with audio at IMA 4:1 Mono and the Graphics setting is coming in at 160MB +

I have set the frame rate to 6 and the key frame to 1000. Colours are at 256.
When i record a video there is a file with .mo and it is replaced with the .mov file.

I deleted the preference files as suggested at the FAQ.

I am running a PB Ti 1Mgz, OS 10.4.6, QuickTime 7.1.0

Just did a 4 second test, at 600x800, settings as above, and the file is 4.0 MB.
YIKES.

Any suggestions?

Hello-
The only thing I can sugggest is to try setting the keyframe to a higher number.
