Full Version: Coupla Missing Snapz Pro X features

Generally i really like using Snapz pro, but there are a few minor annoyances that need fixing:

Adds a resource fork to images -- I have no need for any resources, and i mostly send captures to the desktop, where for some reason, their having a resource fork keeps Tiger from showing the icon preview. I wind up having to specifically use some graphics software or utility to delete the resource fork from every image.

'Send to' menu has only set locations -- I almost never want snaps to go straight to my 'Pictures' directory or its sub-directories, so i wind up sending them to my already cluttered desktop.

Then i have to hunt them down and move them to a folder. SP could definitely use the option to set a custom destination folder.

Always have to go through the dialog to make a capture -- I could really use a hotkey which would exactly repeat the last capture, giving the file a sequentially numbered name. Really would be nice to have a way to get a snap with a new selection without going through the dialog and options.

Otherwise, great. biggrin.gif

Hello-
We are working on an update to SP X now that will address a few outstanding bugs, but the main thrust of this update is to make it compatible under Rosetta on the new Intel machines.

The next update to SP X will be a major revision with feature upgrades galore.

The things you mention are on the To Do list for that revision.

Just so people don't get confused, [1] and [2] are not the same update.
