Full Version: How to get sound clip from desktop to iTunes library

This one totally baffles me. I have already downloaded over 130 RealPlayer sound clips from the same source to my desktop and from there to my iTunes library. A few days ago I did the same with another five or six RealPlayer files also from the same source, BUT...somehow I can't do the same with one remaining RealPlayer file. Am I going mad or becoming prematurely senile? If not, why can't I do the same thing with the one remaining file that I've already done with over 135? Oh, I might add that when I click on this one recalcitrant file, the little RealPlayer player pops up and the song plays.

It seems hard to believe, but I figure that I have somehow forgotten a step. Can someone walk me through what I have to do to get the RealPlayer file from my desktop to my iTunes library?

Hello-
I'm afraid this is beyond the scope of my responsibilities, and I do not have an answer off hand.

As this forum is for support for Ambrosia products, I'll move this topic to the Just Tech forum

Now that it has moved...

Are you on Windows? If so, right click it, Open With and from there either select iTunes from the menu or click Choose Program from the menu and select iTunes or browse for it.

If not, I believe iTunes will do what you want from it's own menu's anyway. Open iTunes, go to File, select Add File To Library or something similar and browse for the file you're looking for.

This applies to the Windows version, but I don't see why the Mac would be much different.
