I have to do screen caps for tutorial media. I use the Animation codec, in the best depth, and more cpu intensive checkbox when doing my encodes i usually have keyframes every 15 frames. The problem that i run into is that when i take the footage into final cut or just watch it using quicktime sometimes i get like a spot were like the mouse will become frozen on the frame but it will still carry on somewhere else. I just wanted to know if anyone else has run into this or has any solutions that they found have worked.

Another problem is sometimes i will use the zoom feature built into apples accesiblity features but during a screen cap i get this weird double mouse effect where i have the big zoomed in mouse then the regular one just chilling out kind parellel to it. As long as i dont move you dont really notice it but once i start moving the mouse it becomes distracting. So if anyone has any solutions for this one that would be most apreciated also the solution i came up with was to not use the zoom. lol.

Hello-
Better reliability of capturing the cursor is on the To Do list for SP X.

I can confirm the problem with the cursor and zoom turned on.

I'll notify the developer.
