Full Version: Snapz Pro and refresh rates on Televisions

I've made a tutorial DVD using Snapz Pro for one of my clients on how to use their filemaker database.

When I play it on a television, there is something about the refresh rate that causes it to look jittery - especially horizontal lines. On a computer it looks fine. So, I'm guessing it has something to do with the framerate I capture at and the refresh rate on the television? It's a CRT Sony TV.

Any thoughts on this?

Hello-
This is a bit beyond me, but I'd try recording at as close to 29.97 frames per second as possible. I believe that's the refresh rate the TV is looking for.

You can set SP X to 30 fps, and if you have Final Cut Pro, use these directions to get it at 29.97 fps.
