Divals the Conqueror
I remember reading about this game a couple months ago; it's a strategy game (for PC), and one of its major hype points was that all the units were the same scale; like, a person would be on the same scale as a ginormous robot thing, and you could zoom in and out to control them.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Would that happen to be Supreme Commander?

That'd be it, thank you much smile.gif

Glad to be of service.

I'd been keeping an eye on the game for myself, and when you mentioned 'zooming in and out' I figured that's what it was.

Hopefully by release I'll have a computer capable of running this with all the eye candy turned on and still be smooth. smile.gif

Supreme Commander is set to be the best game ever. Fact.

Mmmm... Me remember the original, thouhg. And I wish I could get somebody to compile TA Spring for my Mac, here. sad.gif
I hope Supreme Commander rocks just as hard!

What're the requirements? I know it supports dual processors (w00t), but the actual specs... didn't see 'em. I don't want to have to upgrade to play it... <=cheapskate

Wow. I'll definatly be keeping an eye on this. I've been sick of the "first to rush" gameplay of alot of RTS's for awhile now.

Edit:
This will either A: elimiate the "winner has the best micro" problem, or B: become micro HELL.

From the screenshots that I have seen, it doesn't look like it has amazing graphics, but still, it might require a lot of processing power and ram to keep track of all the units, and there will be hundreds of units per side.

Anyway, it doesn't look as detailed as C&C3, but I think it will have a higher fun factor. I like games that are longer and require more in depth thought. Generals was good, but too fast. AoM was much better, although with worse graphics. I'm really looking forward to SupCom, looks very strategic indeed.

Anyone else think the Light Assault Bot looks a lot like an AT-ST?

Also, how is it rated E?

Looks really cool in any case. Might have to try it, though dunno if i have time.
