Hi. I bought WireTap Pro yesterday to do some schedule recordings of a radio show that broadcasts overnight. Everything was chugging along fine it seemed until I woke up and found that WireTap Pro didn't save any of the files correctly.

I wanted to save them as .mp3s and it seemed to do so. Until I looked at the actual saved files and the files were Zero K in size. It looked as if WireTap Pro just saved a placeholder and not the the actual recorded file.

Please please please help me by Sunday night. I have something else I want to record.

Thanks.

Hello-
If you make a recording now using the controller does WTP save the file properly, is it only scheduled recordings you have a problem with?

What URL are you recording from?

At the scheduled time, does WTP launch and begin recording?

Does the radio show start streaming as it should?

I changed the format to AAC and it seems to be fine now. I just wonder if it was because I didn't quit out the application after I entered the registration.

I quit my machine and restarted and it seems to be OK now.

Hello-
Right on, glad to hear it.

You should be able to save sesssions in any file format you like. Let me know if you find otherwise.
