Hi.
I have Snapz Pro X 2.03 and while capturing movies, I'm trying to capture the Mac audio track in Stereo, but Snapz will only capture in mono......when the window pops up after capture, I'm use the settings: IMA4:1, stereo, 44.1, 16 bit. However, when I listen to the saved file, it's in mono.
Can you tell me what I'm missing?
My setup: G5 dual 2.5gHz, OSX10.4.4, Snapz Pro X 2.03. I use a firewire audio interface--MH Labs Mobile IO 2882+DSP. (I do audio and music for a living, so I'm pretty familiar with how this stuff is supposed to work.)
Thanks.

Hello. Thanks for the report. We are aware of this issue. It also affects WireTap Pro. The work-around for now is to switch your computer over to Built-In audio. I understand that this is not an ideal solution.
We have a pretty good idea of what is causing this problem. Now we just have to fix it.
I'll be sure that this is added to the FAQs.

Hi.
Thanks for your response. I tried your workaround and it works. So, at least I have a way of capturing stereo now. Switching to built-in is MUCH easier than capturing with Snapz, then capturing with Audio Hijack Pro, then resyncing/replacing the audio in iMovie, then rebouncing/saving...hehe...
Good luck with the fix.
Cheers.
