Hi

Capture seems fine, but obviously there are some issues to get around if I want to import the files into something like Final Cut Express.

Capturing a full screen movie on my machine would mean a 1680 x 1050 resolution, which isn't going to work well with the 720 x 576 resolution of DV. As a test, I caputred a 720 x 576 selection, which looks good when imported/exported using FCE.

How are other users solving this problem?

Thanks
Ben

Hello-
I'm afraid FCP and FCE are a bit beyond me.

Here is an article linked from the AT describing how a customer is using SP X to record movies to be edited in FCP.
