I'm going to chuckle that WC3 has never shown any slowdown at medium detail on my spare rig.
Pentium 3 600mhz, 256MB RAM, 32MB GeForce 2 MX, Windows 2000.
But yeah, I'm glad you guys are finally getting fair results on your 2ghz Core Duo or G5 OS X dynamite and laser beams.

It kind of ran on a 333 MHz iMac with no GPU to speak of.

Uh, they
had one, but it kinda sucked. But it was good enough for bilinear filtering at least.

If I remember, mine had two, somehow... I didn't know much about computers, but I got two when choosing the way to render 4x4 Evo 2 (software or OpenGL whatever card)... I think. But they both sucked. And yes, that was in addition to software.

This says the iMac 333 carried a 6MB ATI RAGE card. Sound about right?
