Works on macs and pcs. Demo is nearly full game and full game is only $20
Essentially turn based, violent, acrobatic, stick figure fighting. Kinda hard to explain how it's done so my best suggestion would be to download the demo, read the manual, watch the 3 tutorial videos, and then after screwing around in single player go online and learn from others.
Some vid's might help, but I personally don't have any video's to show anyone, but I know hamster has one so hopefully he'll post it. If you look around on youtube you'll see some interesting clips.

A little sample of one of my signature moves.Toribash takes only a short time to learn how to set up openers, but a very long time to learn individual players styles, and how to counter moves. Once you register, the pro servers have a totally different feel to them, and every game you play is saved as a replay you can later watch, to pick up new moves, and see mistakes. I've been playing Toribash a little over a year now, and its still insanely fun.

I have played this a little bit today. It's decent, but since there's so many people playing in one game you spend the most time just watching other people, and if you want to fight somebody
specific you're basically never going to unless you or they are much much better than everyone else there.

I've become pretty good at it, I'm moving up in rank pretty fast and getting to know some of the community pretty well. I made some friends.

I managed, in singleplayer mode, to rip off both my arms in
a single attack on the enemy. Apparently attacking the armpits of the other guy isn't such an effective strategy.
Anyway, I find the game most interesting not from the combat point of view, but the acrobatics and general movement. I haven't managed walking yet, that probably
requires many more adjustments, but I've pulled off some interesting jumps and tumbles.

I'm training mWalk in the ways of Toribash, since
Abbadon, my dorm-mate who I trained from his beginnings, has left the game.
If you prefer a faster gametype that doesn't take as much waiting in line, try the Demo Judo rooms. Much more destructive fun and blood!

Dammit. I finally had my chance to destroy mrxak in judo for gt28 and all the pain it's caused me when suddenly my internet decides to die. That said I've been enjoying classic mode the most since it seems less random at times than judo, and battles are usually decided by points instead of who hits the ground first.

Yeah, I seem to have stopped playing it. Sorry Eji.

I first thought this was some strange British conservative-hitting silly game. How wrong I was...

There have been several changes made now that Toribash has come to version 2.5, and the userbase is bigger than ever before.
Here are a few more movies I've made of myself and others performing moves in Toribash, to whet your appetite for the game:

Nice vids hamster. I really need to find some good people to play against. I've kinda got down the torigods and some others down but finding people who i can actually learn from is tough in toribash. And it doesn't help that 90% of the players prefer judo or Joust.

I'm bringing this back from the dead for one very very important reason:
As of version 3.0, it's free.
This means full acess to all modes, mods, servers, rooms, colors, and more. Also replay saving and single player modifying.

I've watched hamster's videos, and his main strategy seems to be to rip off the opponent's head.

Those vids are showing off. Decaps are wonderful because they give you a ton of points and can ensure a dq, but are rather rare in real games. Theres a massive amount of modes and strategies.

Oh and for those who may have tired it before we have a mod now which lets you add environments. My favorite new mode is where you and your opponent battle atop a platform thats balancing on a poll high above the ground. Very fun.

I have to say the funniest one was throwing his arms at his opponents head and beating him mercilessley.
