Any good Star Trek games for Mac out there beyond the Elite Force series?
The Apple Cøre
Ironically, I'm playing around with Klingon Academy-and wishing they had made a Mac version. It's not bad, but it's not that good either.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any. Every time I hear about a new Trek game, I only hear later about how much it sucked.

Oh, and that's for Windows. I haven't heard of any getting ported in ages. Mac gaming seems in a bit of a lull right now...

Hmmm. It's too bad. I've been on a bit of a Star Wars thing lately, but I've been wanting to return to a different universe.

Is Legacy going over to Mac? I have Windows so I haven't paid attention to Mac ports.

Track down Rescue! and see if you can get it to run in Basilisk II or something. wink.gif

Some good Trek games are Bridge Commander and Star Trek Armada (one and two) but I have no idea whether or not they're for Mac yet. They should be.

As for another universe, I've heard (a long time ago) that Firefly was being made into a MMORPG. If so, that's one game I'm going to jump on ASAP.

Star Trek 25th Anniversary. 'Nuff said.

(Side note: You'll need Basilisk II.)

There's an online strategy game called MacTrek that's pretty fun. It's pretty similar to Rescue, except for the fact that you're trying to conquer planets rather than get people off them.

And, of course, SFA for EVN; the current alpha version can be found on EV-Nova.net if you earn it by writing some descs.

anyone remember the galaxy class plugin for EVO? THAT was a cool ship...

Haha, yeah, I remember that game.

I know it's not a Mac game, but the Star Trek game I played the most was Birth of The Federation. I played it to death, even though it was fairly badly designed, and seriously frustrating. It was kinda fun to control large scale starship fights.

Divals the Conqueror
I forget what it's called, but there's a TNG adventure game in the style of Day of the Tentacle and suchlike...

I've got a copy of rescue somewhere. I've probably also got some other trek games, I'm just not sure where. My dad was a trekkie.

Add a little Star Trek for EV Nova with downloads from http://startrekguide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=799

I played a bit of resuce. Last game I was doing pretty well until I accidentally launched a torp at an ally. I was then torn to shreds by a starbase.
