Hello!


I know that if there is one place where people would appreciate a game like JumpGate, it's here. I played all the EV's, and loved every one of them. Now I have found a 3D game with physics very like EV. It's called JumpGate (www.jossh.com). There is a monthly fee, of course, but the game offers a free trial, and the game client is downloaded for free!

You can really do anything in here. The minerals that can be mined from asteroids are processed into basic commodities (Iron, Silicon, etc.) that are then turned into the engines and guns that you fit onto your ship. There is optional PvP, and an AI enemy to fight as well, called the Conflux. The galaxy is huge, and the game even has it's own radio station! (JumpGate Pirate Radio).

Anyone who is an EV or Elite pilot at heart would fit in well at JumpGate. Where EV Nova ends, JumpGate begins. We'd love to have you over to play!

Ah! That's right, I forgot. I played the older EV's at school where they had macs. JumpGate is only for Windows, my apologies.

I'm not going to delete this topic, but I am going to clean it up a bit and move it over to Just Games, a board to which I think it is better suited. No hard feelings, Johnny, LNSU (that's an order ).

Homeworld Nova is a project on porting Homeworld to EVN as a Total Conversion. (TC) Technically EVN is still the game that's being played/advertised. EVN is made by Ambrosia, the people who run these forums, so it's not considered spam at all. It is their game, after all.

Enigma and Xenos are, to the best my knowledge, free games. Spam is considered something that advertises a product that costs money or draws you into a scam. Plus, Xenos and Enigma are linked to in signatures throughout the forums. So practically, if you were an administrator (thank goodness), you'd have to ban half the board if you was going to considering Xenos and Enigma spam.

Hypocrisy indeed.

Edit: I've done some snooping around and apparently this guy has been at it for quite some time. Same game too.

This is ridiculous... first of all, what is Johnny talking about when he says "Grunk has a good point"???? Grunk only posted afterwards.

Johnny came back and edited his previous post after Grunk made his post. Just look at the edit time on Johnny's post.
