Thanks for the update! Looks great. However, I can't figure out how to use the "Save Later" function for a movie. That's a feature that would be great for me to take advantage of. Any tips on how to do this?

Thankyouthankyouthankyou! Can't wait to hear more about the successor. But for now, I'm going to enjoy the Universal goodness.

Its not automatic, you have to hit cancel during the save in order to be able to save later. Detailed on page 46 of the Snapz Pro X 2.1 Manual.

Thanks, that explains it all!

Sorry about that. It just said on a Danish Mac site that it was a paid upgrade.

Very sweet! Didn't necessarily affect me as I did the majority of my work on my G5 and I very easily got good framerates, but it's nice to have a native speed app for my MacBook though! You have a lifetime customer here!

If I might ask, how hard was it to move from your previous IDE (I'm assuming CodeWarrior?) to Xcode?

I'm very excited to see the successor!

I have the 2.0.2 powerpc version. I want to know before upgrading. Do you have added smp compression acceleration?

Do you have included OpenGL vSync movie recording feature? (allowing to registered the exact frame from videogames avoiding frame dropping or bad frame captures).

While tech support might be able to offer you a more detailed explaination I can at least tell you that you will notice a significant improvement due to the bug fixes and some enhanced accelaration included in at least the 2.0.3 update. The latest release of 2.1.0 build should be noticable in it's improved abilities compared to your version of 2.0.2.

Love the new version.

One annoyance -- I currently have OS X 10.5 and I had to stop using the new version of Snapz Pro X because of the constant logging:

Jul 13 09:14:17 rkbook Snapz Pro X[708]: kCGErrorFailure : _CGSFindSharedWindow: Invalid depth
Jul 13 09:14:17 rkbook launchd[78]: Background: Aqua: [0x0-0x5c05c].com.ambrosiasw.snapz: Standard out/error: Fri Jul 13 09:14:17 rkbook.local Snapz Pro X[708] <Error>: kCGErrorFailure : _CGSFindSharedWindow: Invalid depth

It there any way to turn it off?

evan smith
Hello,
Sorry, but there is no way to turn off the logging that I am aware of. All issues with Snapz Pro X 2 should be resolved prior to Leopard's release. Best of luck to you smile.gif
