I was wondering about the status of adding drawing tools to Snapz Pro X. These tools are supported in a new tool called Skitch <http://plasq.com/> which is in beta.

I would like to stick with Snapz Pro X but these tools would be very useful.

There are no plans to add any tools to the current version of Snapz. However the next version is in rolling along and will have a whole bunch of great new stuff, but the details have not been released yet.

Skitch looks like it will be a great piece of software though I have not yet used it. From what I have gathered they are aiming for a different kind of market. They actually used Snapz to create their introduction video! Hope this helps

I'm sure they are coming, but put me down as a vote for some basic markup features including a privacy smudge effect.

Also, please add copying to clipboard AND saving to disk (not either or) to the wish list.
