Using a MacBook, Core 2 Duo, 2Ghz and Snapz Pro X 2.1.1. Every time I capture there is always a part that stutters. I have tried no compression, DV, 264, animation, 15, 30 fps and it still stutters. I have deleted the prefs, rebooted, saved a short movie, changed the codec. I have rebooted and had only DVD player and Snapz Pro going. This is even happening on my PowerMac Dual G4.

Here is a link to an example, it is the worst stutter today, but is shows what is happening http://gallery.mac.com/jimmol/100081

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Hello Jim,
Sorry for your frustration. Does the stutter always seem to happen at the same point? Are you trying to record the DVD in full screen mode or in a window? Also, are you trying to start the recording while the movie is playing? Of so, try pausing the DVD first, then invoke Snapz and start recording, and quickly hit the play button for the DVD. Hope this helps smile.gif
