The Question is, does it work with 7.4.2, or does that break it as well?

Nice, thanks.

Not so quick... OS X 10.4.10 with iTunes 7.4.2 and iToner 1.0.1 and I get the following error.

"Error talking to phone, may need to resync or reset phone 8"
Neither resyncing or resetting seems to work.

Am I getting the impression that Ambrosia software thinks that Version 1.0.1 works with iTunes 7.4.2? Really?

Have they tried syncing an iPhone with iTunes 7.4.2 while having ringtones synced prior?

Is this it? We pay $15, your dev team makes one small fix to make it work with iTunes 7.4.1 and that's it? Were out in the cold?

I gotta say that I am a little disappointed. I expected better from you guys. Other software I have purchased from you guys work great. Are you just giving up on iToner? Has Apple or AT&T sent their lawyers after you?

The problem you're seeing is probably not specific to iTunes 7.4.2. We've determined that the component we use for iTunes 7.4.x support sometimes fails to install properly. We can reproduce this internally, and are working to debug and fix the problem for our upcoming 1.0.2 release. So stay tuned.

That is good to hear. I was worried that development had stopped. I couldn't find any posts of a known problem and folks working on a fix. Just self congratulations about how 1.0.1 made it past iTunes 7.4.2 with flying colors.

Maybe an update to your FAQ page that states:
Yes, the current version of iToner, 1.0.1, works with iTunes 7.4.2.

Statements like that make one feel that your folks think there is nothing wrong.

Thanks for letting us know that there is a problem.
