I won't be taking part, I recently deleted SC so I could get more work done.

My 2¢ on the issue is that I should be pre emptively be declared the winner.

PSHH! I'm sure there's a lot of people willing to attempt and make a mockery at that statement. Notice the word "attempt".

So here's the new plan: from this weekend (beginning Saturday) until next weekend (ending Sunday), PLAY! Get in as many games as you can (gather at USEast, channel ambrosia), and whoever has the most unique 1v1 wins (unique means you get only 1 win for beating the same person twice) by the end goes to the top of the ladder. Ties will be settled by whoever played more games (in the event of a tie that way, randomness will prevail). Get to it!

Oh, and post replays, or else you don't get your points.

Actually since I was the higher scoring person on the winning team of the only match played in the tourney, I think I should be.

I'll try and log on from time to time. Now that I'm back in classes time is short—shorter than I expected, in fact.

Also, Blizzard has updated Starcraft to version 1.15.3, and supposedly fixed the Intel/no-256-color-support issue. Hurrah!

It was a cheap win, that's for sure. I was gonna do my usual assorted attack but when you went toss i figured either cannon turtle or cannon rush (in my paranoid, delusional state) so I went for the 6zr. All of my LAN buddies are cheap rushers so it gets you in that mindset. If my rush had failed you would have been able to counter quickly and wipe me all over the map.

Then I assumed you had expanded in the south so I went to block you in, only to realize my cheapness had negated that possibility.

I'm pretty rusty. You'll get me next time.

Well, no surprise here, but Chamrin just beat me. Basically we were both Zerg and he blocked off any way of escape, then pounded me into the ground when he got all the resources on the map. GG!

I thought I knew the map but ended up totally ######ing myself over and basically sitting around doing nothing.

Btw, I've added the enitre list of USeast id's to my friends list incase I never find anyone on the ambrosia/ASW/levo channels (friends list was empty for USeast anyway, mostly play on europe).

Anyway, would love to get a game or two going just for the sake of playing SC, although timezones may be a small problem. (I'm pretty much always up for games around 19:00-24:00 GMT+1. Which is, err, around 13-18 EDT & 10-15 PDT I guess).

Although I tend to be on a lot more in the weekends.

I would like to challenge Blackdog this weekend, depending on how difficult or easy my homework ends up being, and if anyone wants to challenge me and enter the ladder, I'll see what I can fit in.

Also, any more buyers on the Cats vs Mice tournament? If I can gather together from 1-3 more people, I could make a nice tournament, but otherwise, it won't work out.

If that falls through, any interest for a defense tournament? That would require 4-6 players, depending on which maps are picked.

These days my connection is rather crappy, so I'd prefer sticking to 1v1's only, well, on battle.net at least.

So for team games or games with obs, I'd prefer using something like hamachi. ^^
