I personally do not agree with the fact that they made it so that you cannot trade the way you want?
most trade scammers do not cheat by those means.
Also, if people are trading like idiots, then it's their fault that they lost money.

Two Jacks
Well is doesn't stop you from accepting the trade anyway right? It just warns you. But yeah, say goodbye to being over priced and to your self getting a good deal from someone else. I think this will take away some of the MMPORPG element and add some regular RPG element where things usally sell for a flat rate through the whole game. This update is good and bad.
gray_shirt_ninja
I play First Life.
Lizard
RuneScape has become the world's first single player MMORPG. No trading, no PvP, all they need to do now is remove the chat system.
Trah
Back in the day I sold Lobbies and bought rune 2H.
Two Jacks
I only play games that are 'fun'. wink.gif RuneScape hasn't seen a check from me in ages.

I made over 300 k in a month as a level 40, by killing wizards of zamorack when they dropped steel maces in runescape classic, classic is better, but they HAD TO transfer my account over to 3-d
darth_vader
I didn't really read the question, but I did vote for both.
G-Spark
You were a member. You can play on classic if you're a member, or if you've played classic within the past six months. IIRC you're not a member anymore.
Rickton
I've never played but I voted for both.

Redneck
Runescape became really boring when I realized what a waste of time it was. However, by the time I quit I was raking in over 200k a day mining coal.

I also voted both.

Let me lay this out for you who haven't played recently/ever.

RuneScape is the world's second largest MMORPG, with an average of 180k people online at any one time (compared to 600k for World of Warcraft).

JAGeX, RuneScape's creators, have gotten it in their heads that they want to stop gold farmers from selling RuneScape items for real money.

To put a stop to it, they have made it impossible for people to trade items at all, made items that a person drops on the ground invisible to other players, and have removed the game's PvP for items system.

Its been compared to nuking Detroit to cut its murder rate. RuneScape is now a single player RPG with an integrated chat system.

This has all been caused by JAGeX recently being bought out by Paypal.
Redneck
If I want to trade a million dollars for a bucket of water, I can dangit!!

Seriously, all the facts Lizard pointed out makes runescape no longer any fun. However, when the game first started to get rolling, (when I played it) it was an all around good game, even if you just played the free version.

Ouch, that sucks. Seriously, games are about fun, not a long tiring series of tedious challenges. Though I can't really blame them for wanting to stop sweatshops and slave labor...
