Full Version: What's the longest video I can capture with SnapZ

I'm going to be doing a lengthy demo and would like to record my screen. It may run over an hour. Should this be a problem with SnapZ? What determines how long the capture may be?

Thanks.

I've done videos over an hour. I think you are only limited by hard drive space. Although I wonder if it is possible to pause recording and start up again with out rendering out to disk?

capture length is limited by available hard disk space, keep in mind you have to have enough space for both the capture and the subsequent render. you can't pause recording with Snapz, exiting recording results in rendering the video. You can choose to delay the render until later in the event you've run out of space for snapz to save the final movie to disk.

pausing capture is a common feature request and I have noted it on the request list.
