Full Version: Snapx Pro X - capture scrolling windows?

Sorry for the ignorant question, but I couldn't find this mentioned on the Snapx Pro product description page ...

Can Snapx Pro X capture a full (long) scrolling window as a static image in a single operation? The product page is very eloquent about its ability to capture movies, but this is a more mundane operation which I need to do regularly. Or do I have to capture portions of a long window separately and then sew them back together into a single image (oh please, no....)

Some background: After decades of using using Windows, I'm finally getting a new Mac and am in the process of porting my computer life from Windows XP to Mac OS X. I've used HyperSnap Pro for Windows for many years and have been very happy with it -- I easily grab screenshots (including scrolling windows), edit them and save them to a wide variety of formats. I'm looking for a Mac app to replace it, since HyperSnap's authors are not writing a Mac version anytime soon.

Thanks!

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the reply, although it makes me very sad. Can you please add scrolling window capture to your next release?? I really need this capability!
