I recently purchased the MacHeist bundle which included Snapz Pro. I installed it before I realized that I did not yet have a valid serial. The registration code just came today, and when I boot the app, I merely get a window that says that Snapz has been disabled (screen shot attached). I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but that did not work. The application itself does not seem to boot, just the error message.

Any thoughts on how I get it registered?

Hello-
Go into your Hard Drive/Users/your_username/Library/Preferences folder and delete the Snapz Pro X License file you find there.

Then enter the info you received from MacHeist.

Wow - I could swear that I had done that and it didn't work. Well, I did do it for sure this time and it worked like a charm. Thanks!

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem (bought off MH and all), but there is no Snapz Pro preference file, I only have a WireTap preference (which I also have a license for).

It's possible you're looking in the wrong preferences folder. Make sure you're looking the one in your Users folder. And you need to toss the license file, not preference. Hope this helps

There are no files in ~/Library/Preferences/ that even contain "snapz" in their name, and the only one that contains "ambrosia" is my WireTap preference file.

try /Library/Preferences

Yay! All is good. I was sure I looked there, but I was probably looking for the wrong thing.
