Hi all. I got the game demo of the only Colin McRae Rally game for mac.
Then I later bought it at the nearest Mac store near me. But ill give you the site to download it.

OMG. This topic is "Just Games". This is a game. I like it. I thought you would like it by letting you download it. Even though the fact that I'm 11, doesn't meant that I'm dumb.

However, that fact that you're 11 and joined a forum that tells you that you have to be 13 may mean that you don't know how to read

I didn't know you were 11. I didn't say you were dumb. It's just that posting the title of a product, be it a game, utility, LCD monitor, penis enlargement pill, or anything else, with little explanation of what it is and something along the lines of "and I'll give you the link to download it" (implying that the reader would benefit from clicking the link), is typical behavior of a marketing bot. This post honestly achieved very little because a Google search for "Colin McRae Rally Mac Download" would have turned up the exact same results. A bot would post this link because it was set up to make people download it from a certain site, or meant simply to draw attention to the game. That is frowned upon here because this isn't a marketing site, this is a bulletin board for discussions. Are you a bot? At this point, I seriously doubt it. But acting like one, by posting stuff like this (which is basically "look at this game! go buy it! go download it! check out this game! give someone money for it!"), isn't helping your case.

It does seem a bit like spam josh22 but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Just don't make a habit of posting these kinds of topics. Also it would be nice if you told us about the game or why you like it instead of just giving people system requirements and links.

We get our share of spam on these boards, josh22, so forgive us if the constant vigilance necessary to combat it comes off as hostility.

I think posting about a game you like is perfectly fine. Look at other threads on the front page, like this one. Why didn't anyone complain that Yorick was spamming? Just because he joined earlier, or has more posts?

No offense, but Yorick doesn't sound like a spammer; Josh does. It's largely a matter of diction and grammar. Most spam is either badly written or sounds like advertising copy, which it is. And age is no excuse here - when I was 11 my grammar was perfectly acceptable - you can probably still find some of my old Usenet posts if you know where to look.

Now you're going in the wrong direction. You want to take efforts to write so that people are more interested in what you have to say, not less. Writing in Spanish only makes the majority of people not understand you, and nobody wants that.

(Translation of the above: "Because if you have a problem with what I write on my Mac, then I'll write in Spanish or French or German." Although honestly I think his English was better.)
