Using the latest (Mac OS 10.5.1 and Snapz 2.0.1 licensed), I am attempting to complete a short (1-2 minute) movie of Google Earth as it slowly (very slowly) pans over Beijing's Forbidden City. Under various capture parameters and using a variety of encoding algorithms, I cannot seem to get a really, really smooth movie. When I do the save with no compression, the result is a completely green movie - full length, but nothing but green.

File size is not a concern, and I would like to have the file as raw as possible (what is the native file format for the Snapz capture? And can it be saved directly to HD from its cache?) so that I can run different encoding schemes on the raw file without having to re-capture for subsequent attempts.

Thanks.

First and foremost, I would suggest trying the most recent version of Snapz Pro X (that would be 2.1.2), which is Universal Binary (which is not true of the version that you are using). You can grab it from the Snapz page.
