It would be really cool if the next release of Snapz Pro X included an option to cover the right part of the menu bar with a user-adjustable white box.
That way, when recording a screencast, you wouldn't have to manually disable all of the various menu icons (iStat Menus, wireless signal strength, clock, battery level, Bluetooth status, Spaces icon, etc.) that are distracting / unimportant for a screencast. It is common to have to access the menu bar for commands, but an easy way to keep extraneous "stuff" from the recording would be great.
I envision just a simple white, menu-height box that the user can position as desired and adjust the width of to act as a "cover" for certain stuff in the menu bar while Snapz is recording.
