This isn't a criticism or anything like that I just feel that what with the new Vara software ScreenFlow and I know for a fact Shinywhitebox have a new version of
iShowu in beta because I know someone who is testing it, I don't know what it's like but it must compete with ScreenFlow which I recently tried the demo and was very impressed, tho not enough to go and buy it because I found the picture quality to be better in Snapz Pro X, tho the features are very tempting, but the quality is more important in the end,

So is Snapz Pro going to get a update as some stage? it needs to compete and after trying ScreenFlow I must say it is falling behind, I hope we will see some innovation like we did with WireTap studio but keeping the quality we have now, I have to be honest the functions is ScreenFlow really are good and make me want to buy it but I keep telling myself Ambrosia will come out with an answer soon, truthfully if I was able to get the quality I have in Snapz Pro X with ScreenFlow I would be using it over Snapz Pro X without a second thought, which is a bit sad considering Ambrosia was the first, I hate to see it fall so far behind.

What features in ScreenFlow do you wish to see in Snapz Pro? By your own admission, quality is the most important feature and Snapz Pro has that cinched, so I'm wondering what would need to be updated...

Well the ability to record not only the screen but also a camera, then to be able to Post capture, Pre render, edit and add transitions, fades, adjustments to both the screen capture and the footage from the camera independently, to be able to position and size however required, to be able to add other Video or Audio into this as well, then to be able to save it and come back to work on it later pre render then when everything is perfect to be able to Render it out to a movie, (for a starters) Basically everything ScreenFlow can do, maybe add better handling of Audio, the bottom line here is if you don't get this stuff into Snapz Pro then it will just slowly die, old customers will switch, which I am considering if I'm honest, and potential new customers will not buy because there are products with these fantastic features for the same price, to be honest if Ambrosia cannot see the power of this new program ScreenFlow and realize this is how people will want to work once they know it is available then I would be very surprised, So I just wondered if they are working on new idea's to compete or are they far from an new Update, if that is the case then I will probably end up using either ScreenFlow or the new version of iShowU when it's released, I am hoping I won't have to tho, which is why I'm asking.
