Ok, good game guys. I gave Frank directions to get here as he seemed like an upstanding gamer and you don't see to many of those.

So when should we have the next game?

PS: if I'm hosting a server, I'll add ASW to the front of the name so any of you guys can come play if you can stand a little lag (it might run smoothly, but a lot of people have complained about getting lag on my servers). But no s***, f***, or b****.

Single player is rather different from multiplayer. Rate yourself at how good you are at multiplayer only, not single player.

I don't have Xbox live yet for some odd reason. I'll get it soon though.

I've also seen a Cap'n Tripps while playing random games of Halo. I tried talking to him but he made no reply.

You know, Cap'n Tripps is actually from one of the Gunslinger novels by Stephen King. So maybe it's possible that this guy is somebody we don't know.

No, I didn't gravedig the Epic Halo Gaming Topic just for that. I was missing the camaraderie of the ASW halo battles, and wondered if perhaps anyone would be interested in meeting for a game next saturday or sunday. How about it, folks?

Well, actually, now I have a new iMac, I could.. (the G3 I was using before kept crashing, especially during the cut-scenes, also why I never managed to finish the game simply because at the end of the final level (I suppose) the cut-scene never finished, unlike the others).

Except that I'm not at my apartment. Later this week, perhaps. And considering I've played it online but once before, I'm already prepared to get thrashed soundly.

I've got it for Windows.

I'm pretty sure you can play against people on Macs when you are on PC. I think I can play against people on PC's, and I'm on a mac.

I don't have Vista so I never had a chance to get Halo 2.

Halo 2 was xbox and vista only, Halo: Combat Evolved is what these games are played on. PC players and Mac players can play against each other online.


I'm up for a game. I'm free most of the time now that schools over, so if you see me online drop me a PM or say something in IRC. I'll start hanging out in #halo again.

Also, if I remember right, only Shlimazel is able to host a non-laggy game? I'm sure most people have the ability to host, but deppending on your computer/connection things can get annoying pretty fast.

This is the original Halo, and Mac/PC players can play against each other.

I do seem to have awesome powers of non-laggy hosting. Who knew?

Well, I've gotten my feet wet tonight, and I'm not doing too terribly so far. Yes, I am completely new to Halo online.

My screen name is "Topper", and if anyone has any server(s) they frequent I could probably visit them if the stars align. Or y'know, at least our schedules.
