I had an inkling to play an old mac game that appeared on the demo cd that the original EV first appeared on. Does anyone remember a fantasy adventure game that might have appeared on that CD?

The original Escape Velocity appeared on many different collection CDs - can you remember any more details about what you're looking for?

Was it Ferazel's Wand? If it was an ASW CD that you had, it's would've been one of their other games you're thinking of. Ferazel's Wand is the only one I can think of that fit's your description.

Realmz? Exile? Those were two Mac RPGs I played in those days. Amazingly, it seems both companies are still are around.

Or Cythera, maybe?

Check the Spiderweb Software games, and of course the old Ambrosia games. And Realmz.

Avernum was fun. I've still got a save file from game 4 for some reason. The hard drive on my computer broke and we had to get it replaced and I'm positive that was after I had started playing that game.
