In my other life, away from this blog I do quite a bit of audio editing for my gig. I won't bore you with the details but suffice it to say, I need to work on my mac a lot with audio files. I have pro tools installed, soundbooth from adobe and even audacity, but today, EVERYTHING was annoying me. Nothing I did seemed to work. I just want to make a few sharp edits, and every time I tried something, it would blow up in my face. It was an exhausting and painful experience to say the very least... then I remembered that I had a great piece of software from Ambrosia Software called WireTap that made the entire process so much easier and way less frustrating. I mean, WAY less. If you do edits, if you record podcasts, or if you do any work with audio... and own a mac there is no reason you shouldnt have WireTap on your machine....
