I'm thinking about stenciling something on the side of my Wii (painting the whole thing would be a little dangerous). I'm not sure what to paint though. It must be stencilable and one color (or glow in the dark). The only two ideas I've had are the Marathon symbol or the Triforce. What are your thoughts?

Marathon symbol

You really can't go wrong with the marathon symbol, but I'd give some thought to coming up with something personal. It really wouldn't be that hard to make your own logo.

My suggestions:

Rickton
Stenciling the Halo 3 symbol on a Wii would be stupid.

As would the SCII or Marathon symbol for that matter. Might as well go with the Triforce since at least you can play Zelda games on the Wii.

I think this is the best suggestion so far. Original work trumps meaningless stock symbols.

If you need to use a game symbol though, the triforce is the only one that isn't out of place. (I just think three triangles seems pretty boring)

I'd use a symbol that's either Nintendo-esque or original. How about stenciling a ninja in a gray shirt?

I'd go with the cloaking symbol from SC. SC was actually released on N64, so it is a Nintendo product.

The Triforce was my first thought, but that's been done. I have done some drawings of swords that might look cool. Some sort of ninja thing would be awesome though. I'll try drawing something.

I have spraypainted my Wii stand white instead of drab gray. It looks a lot better now. I put a coat of glow in the dark paint over that. I guess you could say that my Wii glows with awesome power. I also took apart the LAN internet adaptor and painted half of it red.

I want to take apart my Wiimotes and paint them but they're held together with crazy triangle screws. Anyone know how to remove these?

Do three.

Marathon on the left.

Halo 3 to it's right

Triforce on top of both in the middle forming the ultimate triangle of video game icons.

The Smash Bros. symbol would look pretty cool. Or I could paint the whole thing with glowing paint. Or both.

Get ambitious, man! Do one of these for your favorite Brawl character. Or, better yet, buy thirty nine Wiis, mod each one with a different character, keep your favorite, and sell thirty eight custom Wiis on eBay.

Well I did decide to do the Smash Bros symbol. It's looking kickass. I just have to touch up the edges a bit.

I finished it. I ended up doing the Smash Bros symbol in dark red. I also painted the flaps on the top and front the same shade of red. It's pretty sweet. I've sent pics to those of you whose Wii friend code I have.
