I do. I just like to annoy those who use them.
Anyways reminds me of a strange ASCII game i once played where basically the game just goes out of its way to be mind numbingly hard and kill you. The only way to win is basically die over and over until you figure out how to get past each amazingly hard part. Not really my thing since it lacks strategy but i know people who love this sort of thing.
If you're talking about "The Life Ending Adventure", that game was apparently an inspiration for the creator of IWBTG. I think IWBTG is far better, though. The controls are less awkward, the graphics are far better, it lets you save at various points, it's much longer, and is just plain a more fun game.
Also: It is perfectly possible to play it on a Mac, given that I only have a Mac and played it. WINE (which is completely free!) did a very good job of letting me play the game, though it did run very slowly on one particular part of the game. Other than that and the fact I had to use the frame-skip version of the game to avoid it from crashing every time I saved, it ran nearly perfectly on WINE.
