Full Version: Snapz Pro: How To *not* Override Os X Shortcut?

Here's what I'd like to do:

» Have Snapz Pro be activated with cmd-shift-2
» Have OS X's built-in fullscreen screenshot be activated with cmd-shift-3
» Have OS X's built-in selection screenshot be activated with cmd-shift-4

I actually got this to work before I recently did an erase install on my computer. Now I can't figure out how to do it again. Whatever I set the Snapz Pro shortcut to be, OS X's built-in fullscreen screenshot shortcut also changes to the same, and vice versa. Help?

Hello,
Sorry for your frustration. Snapz shares the keyboard shortcut with the Finder's "Save picture of screen as a file" regardless of what shortcut is assigned. They can not both be used at the same time. If Snapz is running, it uses that command. If Snapz is not running, the Finder will use it. Snapz will not interfere with the Command-Shift-4 operation though. Hope this helps smile.gif
