Mostel aka Mr. Maserati
I work fulltime at a high-end retail spot in downtown Carmel CA, and the month of August is always the busiest time of the entire year for business. The main reason why, for those who don't know, is that the largest, most prestigious, and certainly the most expensive car show in the entire Western US - the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance - is traditionally held around this time of year.
This, mind you, isn't the kind of carshow that you'd find showcased in magazines like Dub, Streetlow, Import Tuner, or even Ride, but rather, its the kind of show you'd find articles about in the latest issues of The Robb Report and DuPont Registry. Every show for the past 15-20 years has found thousands more attending each year than the year before, so much in fact that Pebble Beach has now become too small of an area for the show to be contained in, and so the neighboring communities surrounding Pebble - most notably Laguna Seca - have all played host to various events of the show for the public to enjoy.

Today the main street of downtown Carmel and the first adjacent blocks on either side were closed to thru traffic, and having brought my camera to work today I wasn't about to let some of the coolest stuff ever on 4 wheels to pass me by without a photo-op.

ENJOY!

Yea thatswhassup, I tell ya during this past week Ive seen the most amazing stuff ever to get put on four wheels dippin by the front of the shop I work at.....
unfortunately my camera was not within reach where I was at a few days ago, when out of nowhere my ears picked up a high-pitched roar resembling a fighter jet outside on the street, and I looked out the window just in time to see a blue-on-silver Veyron sliding by up the main strip towards the highway...If you ask me, a thousand horsepower sounds angry when being made to go the downtown speed limit of 25mph.

Heres another pic, I caught this Lambro posted up the day after the final closing events of Auto Week here.....

And just when I thought that my dream car was gonna be a no-show, I found her hidden in one of the spectator parking lots -

Last but not least heres one of my baby - - gotta show her some luv even after all the pics of insanely expensive toys on display -

I was never a particular Corvette fan, but looking at this image I think surely this is true beauty... beats the hell out of those Lamborghinis.
