Full Version: Snapz Pro X problem

Lord Seth
An annoying problem I have occasionally with Snapz Pro X is this: I do the whole Shift+Command+3, set up the movie capture, and then start it up. When it's done, I again do Shift+Command+3, but...nothing happens. It just goes on recording. I can fix it by forcing it to quit and then re-opening it but then it of course loses the movie and I have to do it all over again.

It only does this sometimes, but it is annoying. Anyone happen to know what the problem is or how to fix it?

(yes, I do have 2.1.2, and I have a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.5.4)

Hello,
Sorry for your frustration. Please try the following:

1. Invoke Snapz and press command-Q to quit Snapz. If you can not invoke Snapz, open the Activity Monitor found in your Utilities folder. Look for a process named "Snapz Pro X", select it, and then select "Quit Process".
2. Remove the Snapz preference file "com.ambrosiasw.snapz.plist", which is located in the Home/Library/Preferences folder
3. Download the latest version of Snapz from <http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/dl/snapzprox>
4. Install Snapz. It should install over the old version, and you should not need to enter your registration info again.

Hope this helps smile.gif
