Hi all,

Any word on whether or not iToner 1.0.9 is compatible with iPhone OS 2.1? At this writing I can't find any info on compatibility.

I don't have an iPhone, and my experience with Macs is limited, but based off past updates to the iPhone updates and iToner, I'd say that you should wait for AmbrosiaSW to come around and say whether or not it's a good idea before upgrading.

Shane,
here's my reply to your question:
My Hardware -
MacBook Core 2 Duo
1st Generation iPhone

My Software -
Mac OS X 10.5.4
iTunes 8.0
iPhone 2.1
iToner 1.0.9

Updated iTunes to 8.0 on Wednesday.
Just did an update to iPhone 2.1 Sunday night.
Ringtones didn't show up (of course).
Downloaded and installed iToner 1.0.9 and reloaded my ringtones through it.

Result?
Perfecto!

My hats off to those little software gnomes up in the trees keeping us in Ringtones!

The 2.1 update should not affect iToner. Testing here shows the ringtones will either survive or can be re-synced if they do disappear. If you ringtones do disappear, we recommend the following:

1. Check "iTonerSupport.bundle" in your ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins folder and verify that it is version 1.0.33 or later. If you have anything earlier installed, delete it, then download and install the latest version of iToner.
2. Launch iToner, delete any ringtones and sync.
3. Add your ringtones back into iToner and sync again.
