Hi, I'm using the trial of WireTap Studio to create a compilation from some of my CDs. I've successfully copied the tracks I want and saved them as aiff -CD quality, WireTap Studio performed flawlessly. The problem is when I burn a CD from the saved files it won't play on any of my CD players. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks for any help!

Edit: I forgot to say, I can play the CD through iTunes but only by importing the tracks, it won't play directly off the disk like a commercial CD.

Hello BazC,
Sorry for your frustration. What application are you using to burn the CD? You're most likely burning an MP3 or data CD, versus an Audio CD which is what many CD players need.

Ah of course, I'm using the OSX Burn utility so that's very likely the problem, I'll have to look for a free CD burning app as my old copy of toast is a little out of date!

Yup, that was the problem, thanks very much for your help!

Um, have you tried using iTunes to burn the CDs?
