Have any of you played KoDP? It's one of the most unusual games I've played in a while. It's sort of like a computerized version of choose your own adventure with a lot more flexibility and randomness. It's a welcome break from the breakneck pace of mouse busting games like Diablo 2 and Starcraft.

You mean kinda like the Realmz scenario City of Bywater?

I'd say there's one in every crowd, but in this crowd there's at least twenty or so...

Bywater isn't THAT Flexible... there's only really 2 distinct outcomes.

But, it still rules. I'm off on a tangent though.

Is there somewhere where I can download the demo of Kings of Dragon Pass or see screenshots or something?

Do I remember David Dunham is the creator of that?

The peace that I search for eludes me. I search for it when the sun comes up, and the setting sun finds me the same. I do not know when I will find what I am looking for.

You can find screenshots and the demo on this page as well as a lot of other information.

While they share the same name, the David Dunham of Ambrosia and the David Dunham involved with KoDP are two different people.

Ok -- I had noticed that some time ago, and looked around. I was surprised when I found no references to each other, and wondered if perhaps that was the explanation.

I realize that I am on the lower slopes of the mountain. I have crested the easiest, and as I gaze with hope upwards, I know that discipline will be needed to reach the highest peaks of understanding. This is my goal.

You can almost play the whole game from the demo. Just save right before end of the year, and load it. Something like that. Grafics for the ther years dont work though.
