This is one of those guilty pleasure games. You know you should feel bad about playing it, but somehow it's still a lot of fun. I've always loved racing games, and the ability to smash up cars with wild abandon is insanely fun. I guess it's a kind of extension of my childhood fascination with Hot Wheels cars. Anyone else play this game? or any other game that is a bit of a guilty pleasure?

I play Carmageddon II, ya its a sadistic game, but its great for stress,, I like the race/demolition/kill every thing you see, aspect of the game. also 007 goldeneye was a guilty pleasure game, just seeing what new places you can shoot a guard to see his reaction. i mined them, shot them, stabed them ,paintbrushed them, ran them over, made them do a litle jig depending how and were you shot them. At least now we can take out our frustrations on sprites and not other things.

Sure those games are great for taking our frustrations, but nothing bears taking an axe to a tree for me.

I like Carmageddon III but damn it is so hard to kill the pedestrians in that game, you got to run em over and burn out on their chest to get em to die.

well, Carmageddon III is only for PC, so he's out of place in the first place.

Yeah! Carmageddon was awesome! Too bad I sucked at it!

For those of you who don't know:
Picture Twisted Metal (another kickin' game) in first person view with realistic structural integrity and no auto flipover.

its not limited to first person, i use 3ed person view the most. since if you got smacked hard, you would be spinning or fliping so much you would have no idea were you where going. but carmageddon 1 had a great internal view since you can see the reaction of you the driver.
The racing bit kinda sucked, i always ended up trashing myself trying to win, i just gave up and just smash everyone to win. In Carma II the few levels where it was just you and the clock, the amount of time they gave you was awful, since the physics of your car was so hard to control when you wernt trying to smash into someone. a bood battle game though.

Carmageddon II is far more fun in first person mode, though it helps if you press the up arrow to put your FOV foward...
