Just been playing the demo of Tropico, and its fantastic!

The problem is it's also very slow. At the moment I'm still waiting to get 10.1, but also in the preferences it says I can only use software rendering because I only have 8Mb of graphics memory, and OpenGL needs 16!

I kind of surprised at this and was wondering if anyone has got the full game, if it runs faster on 10.1, and can you use OpenGL with 8Mb graphics memory?

I have the full game. It runs quite well under 10.1, but I have a pretty fast computer.
I did play the demo on my powerbook g3 and it was a little slow, esp. when you have a large population (250+).
