Well, with the recent events in Afghanistan, I've been planning a Civilization II Scenario based on that. I've run into a major problem though: lack of a decent map of Afghanistan in Civ 2 Format.

I downloaded many Middle East maps, but they concentrate mainly on North Africa, Israel, and Arabia. I've been attempting to create my own in Map Editor, but it contains terrible, terrible geographical errors; I just can't get it right.

Does anyone here have Civ 2 Map skills, and is willing to share them?

Basically, I need central asia. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, are a must, Iraq and Iran would be nice. Terrain dosn't have to match, it just needs to look like the area. Anyone willing to help in? I'll keep trying in Map Editor and maybe I'll get it right, but still...

No no no, I mean maps in the Civ 2 .MP format which I can make a scenario on. I still havn't found any.

And of course, what's the point of making a Scenario if I'm not going to release it to the public?

I don't believe there is any. You *could* make a new one though. I made a scenario based on the LOTR map once (I made the entire map myself), but my HD crashed before I finished it

And, I'm not about to make another map myself!!!!

I've tried the same thing in WCII and SC but the map sizes just end up being too small...
