Full Version: Bugdom!
Yeah, I might have outgrown the game a long time ago, but it's still a blast. I kind of have to play it every now and then just to tell Pangea Software "thanks" for the Mac-only computer games, and to make the name of Rollie McFly great in the land of Bugdom. Does anyone here still play this?

I used to play it for about the two weeks right after I got my iMac. Graphics are nice, but it's sometimes hard to tell if you're close enough to something to kick it or do whatever.

I play it occasionally(5 or 6 times a month). I've always been a fan of pangeas, I think their best game was Power Pete, or what ever they're calling it now.

Yeah, that was something that took some getting used to. Those mosquitos were especially hard to kill, since you had to kick them at just the right time.
Graphics are very nice. The water and particle effects had me stunned for awhile...

Ahhh... Bugdom! 
I only play that when I'm reeeeeeeeeallllllly bored, but when I do I always appreciate the graphics. I love wandering around someone's back yard! Especially when I'm nice and bug-sized!

"Night Attack" has got to be the best level though, and it certainly has the best music.Of course, I still play Cro-Mag Rally with my younger brothers when they feel like racing multiplayer.

I never did get past that night level... My favorite was level four due to the dragonflys and the music, but level 3 is by far the prettiest. Good old Pangea...

Night Attack is by far the most challenging, and it's very big. It usually takes me twenty to thirty minutes to pass. The trick is to let the rediculous numbers of rock and spear-throwing ants to walk right into the acid pools. The fire-breathing ants are the ones which are hard to deal with.
Yeah, the Pond level (level 3) is cool. That's the one where the water effects impressed me the most. I believe Pangea's "Cro-Mag Rally" uses the exact same effects...
Level 4 is my second favorite. Getting to strafe all those sitting ducks on the ground with a dragonfly is a blast (in more ways than one
). The music is excellent as well.------------------

Bored.. yep. sounds about like when i play... i was up till 3 a while back... nothing on TV, not a lot of games on the comp.. (didn't have UT and i didn't know about hotline) I started playing, the 4h level annoyed me so much i quit playing....

Nah. I played the game for ten minutes before never touching it again. It's certainly Pangea's worse game, but Cro-Mag fixed their reputation.

Bugdom is a fun game if you're in the mood for something nice and not serious. I haven't beat it but I do play it every once in awhile. Cromag is much easier. I beat it on hard repeatedly (Although sometimes I can't seem to find a arrowhead in Atlantis). I hate pangeas other game that comes with the iMac. Nanosaur is horrible(Mabye because I suck at it). Ok. There's my 2 cents.

I'm almost always in the mood for something not serious. I like Bugdom. I have the demo. Nanosaur scares me. Stupid T-Rex. Cro-mag is hard. I play it at school. There isn't a joystick. I like short sentences.

Cro-Mag is way too easy and there aren't nearly enough really good levels for split screen play, and the weapons aren't much fun. I beat it fairly easily using a car with minimal stats via the physics editor.
Nanosaur is impossible, and the controls are often frustrating. I always enjoy playing a game or two though...

Nanosaur is a good game! It's a bit too short though...I quit playing after I won a couple times. It has cool graphics and neat style.
Bugdom was fun, too...and yes, that night level was the most difficult. I think it was the only level I didn't get everything in.

Skyblade, i play it when I am bored, and i recently started playing it alot. I have a saved game at the begginning of the level where you shoot the bees and beehive. (thats my fav level) I am on the night level right now, and i note that while dynamite kills enemies, it kills me quicker. It is definatly the hardest level. I hate spiders and flying bees.

Well, I finally beat level 8, and I must say I'm very disapointed by level 9. It's ugly, glitchy, and frustrating. I hope the game makes a nice comeback for the final boss. Level 8 was rather ugly and glitchy feeling too, but not nearly as bad as 9.
