I rather enjoyed them comparing the XBOX to Jaguar at the end, because, as I recall, Jaguar caused the downfall of Atari's hardware production. Hopefully the same will happen to Microsoft.

CameGube looks very impressive, but the games seem too childish for me (at the moment at least). I'm more into MGS2, SSX (tricky), GTAIII (of course) and Max Payne was okay too. PS2 is just the console built for moi.

The PS2 has more than twice the userbase of the Xbox and Gamecube combined. That's a pretty steep hill both of those consoles are going to have to climb, especially given that the PS2 has had almost all the major blockbluster hits so far (FFX, GTA3, Silent Hill 2, etc.)...

Xbox has a better specification, four player action as standard (no multitap needed) and some kick ass games. Yeah, MGS and GTA 3 are wicked games, but Amped is sooo mujch better than Tricky.

For a start, multitap is quite cheap, and 4 player is pretty rare most of the time. I mean, 4 controller ports is nice but it's no reason to change your mind over a console. Metal Gear Solid 2 is reason enough on it's own to buy a PS2. It is the best console game I have ever played. By far.

I played t he xbox at my friends house, playing HALO. If you ask me, its a prettty good machine, even though it IS Microsoft.
As a computer geek, I wouldnt touch it.
As a video Game freak however, I don't think its that bad. The controller gave me hand cramps, though.

I can't understand why people say that the graphics on the Xbox are better. I've played Halo, and it's pretty cool, but the graphics are FAR surpassed be Metal Gear Solid 2. Everything there is just a lot smoother, and all the graphics are better.
Also, the Xbox controller is not only ugly, it's hard to use.
Gamecube is pretty cool, but the graphics in some games don't seem to be quite up to par. Rogue Leader for example, would have frame skips while I was playing the demo level at Best Buy. That controller is a lot better than the Xbox, but it still isn't perfect, or even as good as PS2 or even N64.
Just my two cents...

I have a Saturn (bad, bad mistake ::shudder:: ). A SNES, a Mega Drive (Genesis to you US types), a PSX, and a N64. Xbox is the worst system ever invented... i'd rather have an original nintendo than an Xbox. why you ask(other than the fact that im an Xbox-hating, anti-Micro$oft, pro-nintendo fanboy )? ill give you some reasons:
1. Xbox has only ONE good game... and i think you know what game im talking about.
2. the controller can only be adequately described by the words "abomination" or "monstrosity". it is practically impossible to use at all, much less with any degree of comfort. plus just look at the buttons on it--i can live with having black and white buttons, but why is the button that should be called "select" named "back"?? wtf is up with that???
3. Xbox is far too expensive. PS2 is the same price, but with PS2 you get what you pay for, and GCN is much cheaper and IMO better.
4. the graphics on Xbox are not better enough than the GCN or PS2 to be noticeable, so it doesnt make a difference.
some game-specific reasons:
1. Halo: the only halfway-decent game on the whole system. but eventually it will be out for mac, and then Xbox will have zero good games, cuz any computer FPS kicks the sorry little crap out of any console FPS. especially with ut2k3 coming out this june, i dont much care about halo anymore(but ill still get it when the mac version comes out of course)
2. Dead or Alive 3: this is pretty much just a rehash of DoA2. while DoA2 was an ok game, DoA3 doesnt really add anything and you have to use the craptastic Xbox controller to play it, which means that it isnt worthwhile.
3. Oddworld: Munchs Oddessy: this game is just flat stupid. im not going to bother elaborating on it.
4. Amped: amped is ok, but SSX tricky is about five times better, and you can play it on GCN or PS2(whichever you prefer) and not have to put up with the Xbox's controller.
oh, and anyone who says GCN doesnt have good games, heres a list: Super Smash Bros Melee, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, SSX Tricky, Star Wars: Rogue Leader, Pikmin, Super Monkey Ball. and soon to come: Mario Sunshine, Perfect Dark Zero, Metroid Prime, Star Fox Adventures, Soul Caliber. read above to discover that Xbox has only one good game. tell me again how Xbox has more good games than GCN?

If you mean Bungie (and you do), the game was originally intended to ship for the PC and Mac. As it is Bungie are still promicing it for these formats, and -the naive fool that I am- I belive they will hold by their word.
