Full Version: Quake anyone?

I've seen all over the boards people that play StarCraft and I know there are some that play UT, but I've yet to see anyone that plays Quake 3 and I was wondering if there were any out there that play it.
The truth is that I do play it on a PC(if that bothers anyone here), but I know that it has been released for the mac(if only I could get mine to work! ).
So, Q3 anyone?

PS. Yes, I know, have played and love the Marathon series.

I played Q3 but I deleted it to make room for UT

Play UT. Had Q3 installed, but I did not like it, so I deleted it.
On my PC I tend to play HalfLife and/or Serious Sam, The Second Encounter.

I play it whenever I get a chance which isn't often since the game is actually on my brother-in-law's computer . Every once in a while he has a LAN party though and we take turns playing. I'm actually fairly decent since I rarely play.

You'll be happy to know I have Quake 3 and sometimes play online. Sometimes. I prefer starcraft.

Oh well. I actually used to play StarCraft alot while I was in Korea. In fact, I played it to the point that I don't want to even see Kerrigan's mutated face anymore.

Well, i've completed it on Nightmare, so I'm quite handy at it. Unfortunatly, I'm stuck on dial-up, so multiplayer is sucky.

Get UT. I've got it for mac and kick it's butt in a week and a half. It's quite easy single but multi- is not too much harder. Oh, and as for the PC (dork), burn it and buy a good Mac because you need a real computer, sissy!

Um actually I run UT on a 233mhz imac so I don't think you really need a good mac

As for getting a Mac, I'd love to, but some people are unfortunately not blessed with understanding parents.
Oh yes, and note, nowhere in my post did I actually refer to my PC as a "computer".
And even if I were to get a Mac, I probably wouldn't get or play UT. I've played it before on several occasions(lan parties, friends, etc.), but I just feel alot better with Q3.

Oh, and BTW, I do not enjoy being called a dork and sissy tongue.gif
