I've been scavenging the Internet for a game I used to have on my LCII back in about 1992... It was called Mutant Beach and it was a vaguely confusing platform-type game. I remember enjoying it, but I was only about eight at the time so the memories are vague.

Has anyone got, or seen a place where I can get, this game? Search engines seem to turn up serial numbers for it and vague mentions, but I can't find a copy of it anywhere.

Yeah, I remember wanting that game for Christmas. I did not get it though I got "Leprechaun, A challenge for everyone". It was indeed just that, a darn good challenge.

Hang on a sec, I'll see what I can find. *searches*
Found nothing on it. Except;
The game is published by Inline Design. I could not find the company's homepage, though. They might have changed name, never had a website, and/or do not exist any more.

You could find some info on abandonware sites, but most of them are illegal. *shrug*

Good luck, anyhows You might try this search engine, or this one. They might give you some finds. I used google, but have not got much time, so I did not get to use the other two.

I think this is the closest to an official web site for the game ...

Thanks you two. I've still had no luck finding a copy though... I've tried all the search engines I know as well as Hotline. Keep your eyes open...

I know exactly where to get it, but it's an abandonware site. I downloaded it myself once, but I thought it sucked. Anyway, since you're a mod, you can tell me if I can post the address or not.

I dunno, but my Civ disks went down the drain about two years ago. Adding to that the fact that my old HD went just before, and you can see I'd like the URL...

Alas, I am not mod of the forums, so I can't really tell ya to post it here...

He's a moderator. Andrew has made it so that whatever mods write, it appears in pig-latin. That is why he used the clams, so that pig latin would not be the outcome.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately, Mutant Beach doesn't appear to have a speed controller so it's unplayable on my G4 anyway

Some of the old games I have are simply too fast on new computers. Even when I emulate an older mac, they are waaay too fast.

You could try to emulate an older mac, though. It might work.
